When I paid for the platinum warranty, I never expected to have to fight to have a photographically documented issue cause me to have to fight over diagnostic fees. Thankfully Payton ultimately made it right and didn’t charge me. I understand that a sporadically occurring issue cannot be resolved when it is not happening currently, but I have irrefutable photographic proof of a problem. This should not be this difficult.
Separately, when I paid for a prepaid service contract, I never expected it to be such a colossal waste of time and money. Of the 14 times I have had my truck serviced under this contract, I have had three times (two of which were not even at this dealer!) that the tires were at the correct or requested pressure when given back to me. 3 out of 14. So 11 out of 14 times I was given a vehicle back that had pressures different that what the should have or were requested to be- every time different than what they were claimed to be. Multiple times Ive had a tire over 30psi OFF from what it was claimed to be changed to. This time was no different. One of the back tires moved to the front was not changed. One was deflated from 60 to 31.4. One of the front tires moved to the back was not changed, one was deflated from 55 to 28.7.
I am so glad my service contract is up, I am thrilled to not have to return for service here. As stupid as it sounds, I almost can’t wait for my warranty to expire so I’m not stuck returning to have warranty work done here.
Everyone told me to buy a Toyota because it’s such a great vehicle and it’s so hassle free at Toyota. I cannot imagine a circumstance where I would ever tell someone that, nor a circumstance where I would ever buy another Totota.
I am completely aware that all of this will in all likelihood just fall on deaf ears, that nothing will come of this, but for some stupid reason it feels good to vent when asked to “rate my experience.”

I was a little frustrated that it was over 2hrs before I was contacted that 2 filters also needed replaced & in total my visit took over 3hrs. But now that I've driven, the steering is definitely pulling to the right, so smthg needs adjusted. I'll be out of town until 10/4.
