Car was dropped off at 10:00 am because the low tire light was on and the key fob battery light. We never heard back. Called and left messages over a two or three hour period because the phones were never answered. Finally at 4:00 pm I got to the operator to put me through to someone who would actually answer the phone. DeNeve (Denise?) answered and I told her that we hadn’t heard from them in 6 hours when they said it would only be “an hour or two”. She apologized and told me she would PERSONALLY call me back in 5 minutes. After 20 minutes of no call back, I once again called and the operator again said she’d put us through. Nope, voicemail again. We decided to just drive to the dealership. When we got there nobody knew what was going on. DeNeve/Denise went running off when she heard who we were. They apparently were just then doing the battery in the fob. I mentioned to her that she said she was personally going to solve it and call me in 5 minutes, and that was 45 minutes ago. She replied “I have been BUSY! It’s been BUSY in here!” Q did a good job trying to fix this, but I feel like he got thrown under the bus on this one. We’ve been coming here for years, and have never had it this bad.

I was told that the tech working on my car recommended a new cabin filter because it was in code red, I mentioned to John that my car had both filters replaced on my previous visit and that seemed odd. He requested I come back to the dealer and inspect with the technician because no picture was provided with the recommendation (red flag). Upon inspecting the filter with the tech (Brian) and the assistant manager (Robert) the filter had very minimal residue and everyone agreed that it should have been a yellow code instead. So I was lied to, making believe it needed IMMEDIATE replacement when, in fact, it was just fine. Instead of owning up to the lie, I was given excuse after excuse and spoken to with a patronizing attitude that this wasn’t that big of a deal and it’s only a recommendation. LYING to me, trying to up-sell, and losing my trust with this and any future service or repair does seem like a big deal. You have lost me as a customer for life, and I won’t hesitate to retell my story to family, friends, or anyone else who may be questioning Toyotas service or experience in general.
