It is my understanding that the Maintenance Minder information display should be reset if the service was performed and completed; the failure to reset the Maintenance Minder Display after the service results in the system showing incorrect maintenance intervals, which can lead to serious mechanical problems. According to the Honda Owner's Manual, the dealer will reset the Maintenance Minder -- I did not see that it was done.
Although I attempted to reset it myself, I am not certain that I did it correctly, I hope that I did.
