I was beyond satisfied with Alex. He was very pleasant to work with and very helpful. I can’t say enough positive things about him. I’m just disappointed with the warranty department. I contacted them early in the week when I first brought my car in about my door handle that was clearly defective. $1,000 was the original quote. I’ve taken my car to a Honda dealership for EVERY SERVICE and NOWHERE ELSE since I bought the car. They told me they didn’t have records of all my invoices. I had to ask Alex to email me digital copies of all my invoices at HB Honda and I had to make copies of my paper invoices from Costa Mesa Honda and Thousand Oaks Honda to forward to the warranty department to prove that I’ve been loyal to Honda since day one. I didn’t hear back from the warranty department and had to call them again yesterday on Friday to follow up. I explained on Friday that my service was due on Saturday at 8:30am but still no response. I’m really frustrated that I had to pay nearly $900 for a door handle that’s been not only an expensive problem for me but many others as well. There’s an online forum of many people that have had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. The defective door handle drained my car battery earlier this week which costed me $160 to replace when I was trying to get my kids to school. If the warranty department doesn’t get in touch with me soon and help me with this I will take my business elsewhere from now on. I remained loyal to Honda with the expectation that they would make good on defective products. When I sell this car I’m going to buy elsewhere if I get left hanging on this. I’m really frustrated and I don’t understand why it takes this many days for management to review my case.
