I reached out to clinton auto group with a jeep that would not start in my garage Todd saved me money by having a couple of other employees to come out and start my vehicle and the drive it back into the dealership to service it
Within one hour of calling him my jeep was on its way to being diagnosed and fixed. He not only saved me a towing charge but made it convient for me as I was home recovering from surgery...you couldn't ask for better service than that

When I first arrived there with my car problem, I was told my deductible was $100, but if the extended warranty covered this part needed, the deductible would be returned back to me. When I saw the estimated cost, a $75 fee was on the statement for a cabin filter. I questioned that but left. When I got the call that the part was in, I stated I didn't want to have the cabin filter changed at that time, and was then told the work can't be done unless the cabin filter was changed. I felt that I was being taken advantage of. After doing some research, I called the service area and told them that this is not true so then the statement changed and I was then told that no, I don't have to get the cabin filter changed. After scheduling the appointment for the service being done, I had a few people say to stay away from your dealership, which now I understand why. Im 74 years old, and feel like I may have been taken advantage of, had I not done some research on my own. Im also looking to buy a different vehicle, but dont expect to deal with your dealership.

While satisfied with this particular interaction, I was very disappointed that my warranty claim was denied. My Explorer ST had an exhaust pipe fail due to an obvious defect, due delays due to dealer and tech availability I went ahead with a repair with an independent vendor, only to discover that due to the repairs it could not now be covered by warranty. I find this outcome as totally unacceptable
