Went in for an oil change and reported that my drivers side puddle light hadn’t been working. At first it was denied under warranty because the tech claimed there was an “impact” mark on the mirror that caused the damage. Service tech tried to sell me a replacement light for $95 pets and labor. I refused because it’s only a $10 part and 2 minute install. When my truck was brought out, there were wires hanging out of my mirror because they decided to cut the light out even though I stated I didn’t want the work performed. After complaining about the wires hanging out and asking for the tech to show me the “impact” mark, which he couldn’t because there’s isn’t one, then I was offered to have the light covered under warranty. Verify disappointed with the service dept and honestly once my Toyota care and autobuttler is up, I probably won’t be back to Hampton for sales or service. If they tried screwing me over a $10 light, what else will they try to get over on me in the future

Today was my 3rd visit. I had an oil change etc on Nov 30, 2019. I had an alignment on Dec 11, 2019. Today I went in because my tire pressure light was on and I had 2 tire pressure sensors changed. Each time I went to Hampton, Phillip Richard was my service man! He is very courteous, friendly and explained what the service department would be doing.. if possible I would like to have Phillip Richard wait on me whenever I bring my Avalon in for repairs!
