When drove up from Jensen Beach to accept delivery of my Lincoln Aviator, it was a cloudy, drizzly day. My car was driven around and parked in a puddle in front of the store making it difficult to look it over but right away we noticed a stain on the 2nd row seat. On the drive home we noticed there was a white-ish/gray-ish residue on everything and all the windows were streaked with something. We assumed this might be the xzylon treatment or the residue left when the plastic is pulled off... like new appliances and such. I feel it should have never been delivered in such a manner. On Feb 25th I had the valet pick up the car to be properly detailed and to have a few other things tweaked that seemed wrong. It was delivered back to me on Feb. 28th and was not detailed and the stain on the second row remains. Needless to say I feel the delivery has not inspired confidence, nor has the valet service. These were the reasons I went all the way to Island Lincoln from Jensen Beach, because I believed that it was important to find a dealership with service integrity. Anyone can sell a car but it's how you are treated after the sale that truly makes the difference.

I spent too long waiting in the parking lot before I was signed in for service and at about 2 hours the routine oil change took too much time to complete. Both of these issues could have been caused by heavier than expected service volume on a Thursday morning but lots of sales folks walked by while I was there, seemingly not doing much to assist other customers. Perhaps a contingency plan can be developed for the next high volume day.

Long story short, I never mentioned a low coolant fault. It’s been a thing for 5 or more years and doesn’t bother me or the truck. It was obviously not low, the switch was just bad. I didn’t think anything more about it other than it was odd that Brad led the conversation about the diagnosis of my suspension fault with that info.
I went and picked up the truck, converting it to coil over struts is cheaper than buying the failed compressor... but when I got it back to my shop it was leaking quite a bit of coolant from.... (you guessed it!) the coolant overflow tank right at the coolant level switch.
I just wish I could trust a dealership. I’ve been a customer for 8 years now. While not a big spender, you’ve always taken care of us before.
