Only thing I would like to see would be to see a write up from the tech on the work performed for my own records. They inspected the vehicle but all I got was a word of mouth that everything checks out. But I really appreciate the type of customer service and promise that if something comes up again that they will help identify the issue. Unfortunately I am really disappointed with my visit. First, I was a little shocked to find out that an oil change cost me $90 when Honda charges anywhere from $50-$60 and they provide discounts on services to loyal customers every time. I decided to bring my RDX to Acura for its oil change since after all, it is an Acura and I wanted to try Acuras services however I left disappointed. Not only this, after I got in my vehicle I noticed a few items that were in my arm rest were now laying in my center console? Okay interesting.. On top of that, any time I give my vehicle for service anywhere, I review my dashcam for my safety and to ensure my vehicle was treated with respect. In an attempt to view the footage it turns out my dashcam had been stopped from recording from the minute it left my sight, up until it came back into my possession. This makes me extremely uncomfortable, especially after finding my items in a place that I did not leave them prior to leaving my vehicle. Another issue I had was with understanding my statement and what kind of work had actually been done on the vehicle. When checking in, I was asked if I wanted 3 different services which were an oil change, a tire rotation, and something to do with the front calipers (I did not fully understand this last service that was recommended). I said I would just like to have the oil changed at this time. The associate asked if I wanted a tire rotation with that as well. I asked if this service was included with the oil change to which he said, oil change is 79$ and tire rotation is $99. I declined the tire rotation and asked only for the oil change. After receiving my receipt/statement of services performed, the last page said "oil change and tire rotation" under offered services and the box checked "approved" to the right of the service, yet on the first page that I received under services performed it said only oil change was done. This was extremely confusing and left me with uncertainty of what I had actually paid for and which service had actually been performed on the vehicle. Very grey area here. Lastly, I got charged a safeguarding GLBA fee of $1? Why this fee got charged I have no idea. What this fee is for, I have no idea. Having an acquaintance who also works for Acura could not answer me what this fee was charged for. Honestly, leaving this place after my vehicle was done left me not feeling good about this whole interaction.

While out running errands a piece of metal lodged in my tire and I was quickly losing air pressure. I realized I was near my Acura dealership so I drove over. I explained the situation and they immediately took great care of me and patched my tire. In about an hour my car was fixed and I was on my way. What a relief! They made a very stressful situation so much easier! Thank you! This is why after 120,000 miles we still always bring our MDX here.
