I understand Covid is impacting everything and wait times are longer than usual. My issue is that I brought my jeep in Thursday morning and was told “today or tomorrow”. I didn’t hear anything until I called Friday late afternoon requesting status. I was then told “tomorrow “. I saw Jacob at 8am Saturday morning to get something from my Jeep, no mention of status. I called back late afternoon Saturday and he informed me the heavy duty technician works every other Saturday. Why did he tell me Friday that it would be tomorrow, and when your heavy guy was out Saturday, why didn’t you call or text? I then asked for some level of certainty my jeep would get looked at Monday, he said he couldn’t confirm. I asked him to please call me because it had been 3 days without a single call so far. He said he was off Monday but would leave a sticky note ti have someone call. No one called. I called late Monday and was told probably tomorrow. My issue is, if I had known and the expectation had been set or reset at any point in time throughout this experience of I had received a single call we could have recovered. Jacob really didn’t seem to care… that was another big issue. This is the 2nd wrangler I’ve purchased in 2 years and my first experience with service. It was pretty terrible.
The nicest person I spoke to was a gentleman by the name of Richard. I spoke to him Saturday morning asking if I could get into my jeep to get my sons baseball bag. He asked his far out I was and said he’d let Jacob know right away and we will grab it. Richard sounded like he cared and was concerned for me… I run up to Jacob’s office and he’s hanging out talking shop with the boys. Just really didn’t care. And if he did, he never let on to me that he did.
