I dread each and every time I bring my car for service at Cerritos Nissan. What I intend to be a routine oil change inevitably turns into an expense exceeding $500 nearly every visit. Upon leaving the shop yesterday, I still have warning lights for low tire pressure and no new oil change sticker was applied. The front bumper is still damaged. What service was actually done to my vehicle? I sold my car and began a lease with the intention of limiting these excessive maintenance expenses. Now I have a car payment AND maintenance issues similar to what I endured previously, with my 2011 Maxima. What am I even paying for with this lease on my 2016 Altima? What is the extended service package I purchased that so far has not been necessary for any service? This lease agreement has been a nightmare and I look forward to exploring other options with other manufacturers, which is a shame after being a loyal Nissan customer for the last seven years across three different vehicles. I simply cannot afford the time, cost, and frustration associated with this agreement.
