I dropped my Explorer on Saturday afternoon for a Monday morning appointment. The issue I brought it in for was not able to be duplicated. I don’t have an issue with that. I do have issue with a maintenance service that was recommended to us that we just had done in March elsewhere. We were also upset that we weren’t notified of a safety recall on our model. The service manager that my husband spoke with said the car would be ready at 11am on Tuesday. Upon arrival at 1pm they said it was in service and wasn’t ready. He asked to know if it would be soon as he had a ride waiting outside and that service agent (not McPhail) had a disrespectful and very dismissive attitude. We ended up coming back to get the car around 5pm due to this. We have used Grapevine Ford for the last time.

I am disappointed with the lack of communication. I picked up my car Saturday morning, Derek was out of the office (just a recommendation, when the service reps are out of the office, have their phone forwarded to a receptionist). Derek's neighbor (service rep) assisted me in finding my paperwork and key. The notes on the work order stated that I refused the recommended part replacement, but I never received any calls - except when Derek called Friday evening to say the car is ready. The notes were unclear about what needed to be replaced, only the price of the part... $677.00! The tech that brought my car up neglected to tell me that they too had an issue getting the car in gear and used the manual release. I found the cubby in the passenger seat, which leads me to believe he used the manual release.

My only complaint was the wait after the service was completed . It took them more than 15mins to bring my car out. But the service of oil change and the car was were great.

The quality of the management of the FIAT of Scottsdale Service Department is unparalleled in the automotive industry. I have lived in Wisconsin, California, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arizona and owned both foreign and domestic vehicles. And the only word for Jon Kenny is unmatched. Any were, Any time. Any purpose. Jon's management of the service department locks me in. Totally. FIAT of Scottsdale in Arizona. Only automotive destination needed. Not only can I purchase a vehicle at FIAT of Scottsdale with integrity, fun and ease and zero typical car sales bs thanks to Shane Basilone, but I can maintain the vehicle like a champion and with delight thanks to Jon Kenny.
