From the moment I met Hugh I felt like he would get the job done on my vehicle. I’ve had an issue with my passenger seat that I’ve mentioned every single time I’ve taken my car in for service. Hugh was the only one to tell me he would take care of it and actually followed through. Because of this, I will ask for him to handle the servicing of my vehicle again and again. He was super personable and professional. I love that!

Wish you wouldn’t ask for me to make a second and third trip to the dealership just to bring the rental back because there is a chance that a part may take more than 3 days to arrive to complete the repair, totaling 4 trips and paperwork on my end so you can save 2 days of driving on your rental vehicle.

The service I received this past Saturday was the worst service by far received by Midway Chevy. You read about the bad experiences when it comes to service from auto dealers, but I took a chance only to be met with confirmation about the poor service. I dropped off my car on Saturday at 7:45 am with a pre-scheduled appointment. It took 4 hours to get a phone call (11:58 am)about the diagnosis followed by an overpriced bid for a repair. The ONLY positive thing about this entire experience was the option that was provided to me about payment plans for the cost of the repairs. After reviewing the terms, I called my service technician at 1:07 PM to inform her that the payment plan/loan through Dignifi was approved and should proceed with the repairs. The technician told me she would call me as soon as the repairs are done later that afternoon. I noticed it was getting late and decided to call The service center phone number at 5:01pm where I was met by an endless ringing and no option to leave a voicemail. I then called the direct phone number from where the service technician was contacting me from. I left a voicemail letting her know it was 5 o’clock and I was still waiting for her to call me to let me know when to pick up my car. It took me a few minutes afterwards to realize that the service center was closed for the day and I would not be getting my car until Monday. I was extremely disappointed with finding out that my car was not even repaired on Saturday but rather my repair was passed along to some other service technician on Monday where I received a phone call at about the middle of the day to let me know the repairs were done. I was inconvenienced with the fact that I had to scramble around to figure out how to get to work on Monday morning. I was extremely disappointed that the service technician could not extend a courtesy call as promised on Saturday to let me know that the repairs could not have been completed on due to some missing part or part that was not available. I am also disappointed in the level of service that Midway Chevrolet claims to strive on. The fact that the supply cannot meet the demand when it comes to courtesy calls and customer service, means that Midway Chevrolet should not give the option of scheduling appointments on Saturdays if they cannot handle the demand. I have since picked up my car as of Monday evening due to my long work schedule, last customer of the day only to notice as I’m driving home after 6pm that my check engine light is on and is currently still on because the mechanics AND service technicians failed to reset the system when they made repairs on the car. I will be returning for the final time to the Midway Chevy Service Center so that my check engine light can be reset.
