First, I brought my truck there for two reasons. One was addressed poorly and the second, I was told didn’t exist. However, I could get a quote for a new part that wasnt diagnosed or a problem that wasnt there. Then back to the first problem, trying to price gouge or **** a customer for $2500 for fuel injectors is insane. One hour of labor and $600 in parts, you should be ashamed. Moreover, then charging a $150 diagnostic fee, for not even diagnosing the whole problem. Yes, I am extremely unhappy and will be leaving reviews on yelp, google, and the internet to warn others to stay away.

It’s extremely difficult to get a good line of communication with the service department. The service writers are extremely busy, I get it. However, communicating, even communicating when no change or new information is available goes a long way. My 2021 Tahoe was towed in with 4K miles on it on a Monday. It was Thursday before anyone told me what they were looking at as possibly wrong. This was not because I didn’t reach out. I text, no answer. I left messages, no reply. The person who was accessible was our sales person. Our sales person was able to get us some information, and this was out of his sheer kindness to do this and update us. This is the fifth vehicle we’ve purchased from him in the last 5 years. We’ve come for this sales person exclusively, because his service is flawless every time, this instance not excluded. My service writer told me he “assumed my sales person was communicating with me, so he didn’t call”. This is frustrating, one, because he was passive aggressively scolding me for trying to get info through my sales person (not the proper channel, okay...but silence is frustrating), but also because A SERVICE WRITER’S JOB is to be the single advocate I have between myself and the many technicians and mechanics diagnosing my vehicle. This happens nearly every time I leave my vehicle for something with midway. I feel like I am chasing people to get answers, arrange transportation solutions, or otherwise wasting my time to leave unreturned voicemail and text messages all day trying to communicate. It makes me second guess continuing to purchase vehicles from a midway when getting these vehicles serviced is always an ordeal. If you find it acceptable not to hear from anyone until your vehicle is done, I guess this experience is flawless.

Nissan needs to offer more coupons and discounts for services. I paid $628 for my service and 60% of the cost was labor. Not everyone is working or getting all the free money from the government to sit at home. I like to give the dealership my business but there are lots of other places that will do a 30,000 mile checkup for way cheaper. If you would like to give me a retro discount to keep me coming back i would appreciate it. Thanks, Robert,David and Craig Wellander.
