My car was in due to a recall. I was told it would be ready in three hours and it was ready as promised. I really appreciated that because I had other things to do that day.

Service advisor recommended a $480 repair that was not needed. Upon pickup and 15 minute self-inspection at service dept (with no assistance offered or questions from service reps) - recommended replacement of engine bonnet and cleaning of engine area was completely fabricated. I determined only a 6-inch area that with surface scratches only affected. Full engine guard intact and zero holes/damage. Needless to say, recommended repairs were absent from service order paperwork - no documentation or record of verbal repair recommendation made by advisor via phone.

I broke down 145 miles from home because the O-ring wasn’t replaced initially with the recall replacement of the fuel pump. Tried using Toyota Roadside and it was a nightmare. I ended up missing my dads 80th birthday. Very disappointed so far!! I haven’t been stranded by any vehicle I’ve owned until I bought this Toyota.
