Booking the service appointment online was great, considering I needed a very last minute appointment for a dead battery concern. However, although I reserved a time online, the service porter didn't see my appointment on the list - no worries, though, as he checked my car in and assigned me to an advisor. Now, I'm a bit biased having been a Sales Manager at Lexus so I understand the inner workings and stresses of dealership life, but the service I received from my advisor Lily just wasn't great. I understand the stresses of the job and having to meet certain metrics and whatnot, but she appeared completely disinterested about my concern and didn't make much eye contact, not even a "Hello" sadly. Very off putting, to be honest, but hey. The service communication was okay, she notified me of the issue and the price. Cool, pricey but expected considering the dealership rates. I get it. When I received a call from her to notify the service was completed, she answered the phone mid-conversation with a co-worker, quickly told me it's ready for pickup, and before I can ask a questions continued her conversation & hung up. Not a huge fan of that. Picking up the car was a normal experience, but as I stood in the drive and my car pulled up, the service porter parked, removed the hat and walked off without even glance in my direction. Now, I've been in the industry for many years in management positions, the entire experience at this dealership was pretty surprising and unwelcoming - almost a "business as usual" vibe with the service staff. I appreciate the work everyone does, trust me, but a friendlier and attentive staff does speak wonders.

I called Toyota and filed a complaint about my gas milage issue and they filed a claim. A cdc I think they called it.They said you should have kept my car and done more to solve the issue. They want me to take it back so you can find the problem. They don't understand why you just did some diagnostic testing and not actually driven to see bad mileage. I dont understand either. You don't have a car that gets 48 miles to the gallon and then get a real done and instantly it gets 32 mpg. Its a joke.
