I was really impressed with how I saw customers treated during my visit. This was one of my first times at this dealership where I felt they were very helpful and looking out for my interest vs trying to hard sell me something that was not yet needed. I am usually hesitant to come back to this service shop because while always nice & polite, they are pretty notorious for the hard upsale. This visit, I listened to 2 service people do the right thing by the customer. Your management must have changed but I believe you will keep & bring in more customers this way. Nice job! New key made, checked USB port was indeed working and requested license plate holder be installed. Tim Rau is the best service manager we’ve ever had at any dealership! He Is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He takes the time to answer all of our questions and never makes us feel like they are dumb questions. We really appreciate that he doesn’t push us to do unnecessary servicing and feel like we can trust his recommendations. We’re so glad we found someone we enjoy working with and can trust, and will only ask for Tim when visiting the dealership. As for the rest of the team, the valets are always quick to welcome us and check in is quick and easy. The staff is very polite and opens doors for us, which is very welcome during Covid. We appreciate the steps taken to keep the car clean with paper floor mats and the complimentary car wash is a nice perk. Overall, we are very happy with our experience at South County Lexus and will continue to go here for our Lexus needs.
