I almost stopped doing business with Ken Grody about 6-7 years ago. My husband passed and he told me certain service dept. rep would help me...so I asked for him. I was backing out of my own driveway when I hit a trash container. I got a long dent on the right side of my Escape and broke my right tail light on the right side. He took me to a nearby auto repair place. They wanted $1100.00 to fix the dent and get a new light. I declined. I decided to just order the light. He said the light wouldn't be water tight because of the dent. I ordered the light anyway. My son in law said he would try to install the light.when I went to pick up the light a few days later, he told.me he would install it for me! I said I thought you couldn't do it. He said he could do it. The light cost me about $85.00. I never fixed the dent.

I have tried to work with Eric Romanoff & JC Barajas with initial
purchase of my Shelby GT350 R. My car is a high performance vehicle that
requires a knowledgeable & trained technician. Changing a tire on the car requires a technician that won’t damage the carbon fiber rims.
Both Eric & JC are not very helpful or listen very well to customers. I must have called ten times through Ford service call # left voicemails that go unreturned by Eric, JC , Mike Baek. These three employees all want too pass their job responsibilities to the next employee.
I was sent a service flyer in the mail from Ken Grody Ford. On the flyer says to reach out to any technician regarding the service promotions. In my case I was in need of a $600 Michelin Cup 2 tire. This is the second time in the past two months. I spent $1,300. The flyer states if the customer finds a lower price on the tire online that isn’t a third party sell that Ford would match the price. I clearly found the tire on the Michelin website sell fir $449. I spoke to JC & Eric they would not honor it & told me they don’t anything about the program. I proceeded to text & present the service ad sent to me by the dealership but nobody cares.
My car is a limited production model that requires TLC & a passion for automotives. I wish Ken Grody Ford shared. The same passions for Ford automotive with the goal of be helpful & passionate. I always feel like a nuisance whenever I call regarding the card service. Unfortunately each Ford dealer is different & many don’t or are not equipped to service the Shelby GT 350 R. Otherwise I would take it to my local dealership.
Educate your employees. Train them to call customers back. Train them to show respect to customers. Lastly train them so the are able to answer questions about all Fords lineup of cars.
