I am writing in regards to my 2018 Acura MDX which I brought in for warranty repair on 6/25/19 and just picked up today, 7/5/19. I was told all the warranty replacement parts including the trunk piece were complete and the trunk piece still has the same exact issues as it did when I brought it in the first two times to have this fixed. There is a separation between the plastic piece and the rubber on both sides of the trunk just like there was the other times we brought our car in for this exact same problem back in 12/18 and again in 6/19. I have attached pictures of the problem that still has not been fixed. I’m very frustrated that this issue is still not resolved even though I have tried to get it resolved multiple times and have been without my car for almost two weeks. I asked Phillip if he inspected the part in the trunk prior to telling me my car was ready to be picked up and all repairs had been made and he said he did not. My husband had to come pick my car up today since I was at the doctor’s office with my toddler, therefore I was not able to inspect the car until I got home from that. The technicians also got grease on my sub visors during the repairs of the headliner. This situation is not ok and there should be someone inspecting repairs done before customers are called to come pick up their car. The time and inconvenience is even more frustrating! The trunk piece needs to be fixed and the grease cleaned from my visors. I have looked at brand new Acura MDX and they do not have this issue with the trunk piece, so clearly it is a manufacturer defect.

I’m at Acura service quite a bit since I drive a lot of miles. I’ve had the pleasure of being serviced several times with Bobby and he’s always a pro. He stops by several times in the waiting area to let me know where in the process my vehicle is. He is very personable and easy to talk to. He advises me of services my car may need and never pushes to up sell me stuff. I trust Bobby and if he says I need a service I get it done. If I have any questions about a service I want done then he explains in detail. Always a pleasure working with Bobby.
