Jake is great! I always enjoy my visits to Harbor Hyundai. I always feel like he is honest about what my car needs and what can wait. I never feel like he's trying to be pushy, and that's a huge reason why I keep coming back for service.

I really felt like an outsider, once I entered the service center. Jessica advise me to have a seat at Jake's desk. Jake never introduce himself or said a word to me. He started typing on the computer, and immediately started asking questions about my car. Without even asking my name or how my day was. Once Jake was completed with the computer. He told me that I will be receiving a text message by 12 noon. At approximately 1:45 PM, I placed a call to the Service Center. Jake told me my car was not done yet, and that he will give me a call later. At approximately 2:45 PM. Jake called me and gave me an estimated price of 2800 in repairs. I was prepared to spend approximately 1800 in repairs and preventative maintenance. But every time I ask Jake what items he would recommend I remove, he would remove an item in the price will somehow remain the same. My issue is not with the price, while she was with the service that was provided to me. I advise J. that I will come pick my car up the following day. The following day has arrived, and when I arrive to the Service Center I was greeted by Jessica. I had a seat at Jake's this, and he gave me my sub total of 135. Jake told me that his price was for a full inspection, I didn't ask him if the 135 would go towards any purchase. Check repeat it two times, stating yes. I then advised Jake that I would like to get a synthetic oil change, because it would make sense to do to me spending 135, especially since the money would go towards the old change. He then agreed, and advise me that my car will be ready in about one hour. Approximately two hours later I return to pick up my vehicle. Imagine my surprise when I seen my sub total was 221. I immediately asked why the price was so high when I was expecting to only spend 135. Jake advise me that the 135 was only to go towards repairs, and not preventative maintenance such as oil changes. I advised him that we had a discussion in regards to me getting the oil change, and he told me that the money will go towards that. Due to me being late for work, I chose to proceed to the cashier station and pay for the oil change, in the vehicle inspection fee. Upon my arrival to the cashier station, I had my husband's debit card. I was the Nats would be debit or credit, I replied stating it will be debit. The cashier then told me I would need a valid ID, in order to make the purchase. That really broke me because not only have I been waiting two hours, I also was getting bad service and overpaying for an item , That was promised to not be more than 135. I placed a call to my husband and waited outside for his arrival. Why wasn't waiting for him I broke down in tears, I really felt as if I was not wanted there. What's my husband arrived I paid for the repairs. I also observed another female making a payment using her debit card, and she was not asked for her ID. This really upsetting me because it made me feel as if I was discriminated against due to being homosexual or African-American. I know that I may not hear back, and I am not looking for a hand me out or refund. I am just requesting that your staff gets trained better on customer service. I apologize for any typos in this email, I am busy at work just had to get this off my chest, it really ruined my day
