When I arrived, I informed the representative of my 2 issues: my car door locking mechanism and my maintenance required light. Then, there was an issue verifying the warranty that I have on my car. Even after I called Toyota Financial Services in front of the person assisting me and providing him with the Agreement Number, was told that I was wrong. It was not until he called Toyota Financial Services himself that he believed me. After realizing the work was going to be covered by my warranty, suddenly my car battery seemed to have an issue even though I was told it was fine 2 hours prior. I declined replacing my battery twice. When I got out to my car, my maintenance required light was still on. I went back inside to tell someone and I was told that it would still stay on because I never told anyone I wanted an oil change. I informed him that I told him at the beginning of my appointment that the light was on. In addition, on the diagnostic paper work I was given, my oil level said it was checked and was fine and that my maintenance required light was reset. It clearly wasn’t. When I was told that it was my fault the light wasn’t reset and my fault I did not ask for an oil change, I gave up and decided to go home. I felt as if the diagnostic paperwork said my oil level was fine, my light was reset, and a new maintenance sticker was placed in my window (which it was not) it should have all been taken care of. I should not have had to track someone down to tell me it was my fault that my maintenance light was still on because I did not ask for an oil change even though I was told I did not need one. Very frustrating.
