I was a little surprised when I had to go into service instead of having a service drive person come and greet me. This is not Nates issue but a management issue.

Mike is Great and always has been. I was a service advisor for Wheeler Toyota in the late 90', early 2000. I trust Mike's advise. I drive 290 mile one way from the west side of Portland to have Mike's crew work on 1996 T100 w/ 340k. I bought it brand new from Dana Wheeler. I coukd go to any PNW Toyota dealer... i come to Grants Pass.

Normally these service tune-ups are relatively quick and painless. This one took three times as long and we were not updated at any point on any expected delays. I had to inquire and when checking out was treated curtly, and not even told where my car was parked.

I brought my car in for the, not so cheap, resist all coat I paid for. Had I known I was supposed to wash the car first, I definitely would have. However, I was not informed of that and when I picked up the car, not only was it still covered in bug splatters from my recent trip, but the one dull spot on the paint was literally exactly the same as before (and it was just the slightest dull spot). So my end result was that I am spending a good amount of money on something that was applied on top of road gunk and not washed properly, and I even have my doubts it was even done at all. And if it was done I wonder if it's really even worth it at all. From my understanding a coating that cost that much should actually fill slightly dull places in the paint. But no result was noticeable. I was told to make another appointment to fix the issue, which is reassuring so I'm not trying to make a big deal out of it, just informing you of my stance as asked of me.

Mike does a real good job. He's been there a long time and I appreciate his knowledge and his service. If I were you I'd give him a raise.
