Alex has serviced my Forester on two occasions. He is friendly and makes me feel comfortable. I wish I could draw him every service visit.
I was disappointed to have to come back to have some changes corrected.

Excellent service today. I must have been mistaken and thought I was told you were open till 4 and I had to be there before 3, but it was 3 and 2. I showed up at 2:20 and your team still took me in for a quick service and even gave me new wipers under warranty! The waiting area was nice and stocked with snacks for my 7 year old and comfortable my 5 year old to fall asleep! ???? ha ha Thank you again!
Came in for 36K mile maintenance. Was told brake fluid was rated “yellow” on the inspection report and would need attention soon. Just had brake fluid flush at Norm Reeves at 32K miles, so questioned the inspection; was told the tech did not inspect the fluid but rated it yellow because there was dirt on the reservoir (everything under the hood has dust on it). Inspection report also coded engine air filter as “yellow”. This was also just replaced at 32K, so checked it myself when I got home and it is very clean as expected. The inspection report says brakes are 10/10 in front and 8/8 in rear. 32K inspection report showed brakes at 9/9 front and 7/7 rear… given the results on the brake fluid and air filter, I doubt the brakes were even measured this time, probably just looked at and estimated (or measurements were performed in a hurry, either way the brakes did not grow over the last 4,000 miles). This is not the service I am used to receiving at this shop; I’m not sure I can trust that I’m getting accurate information and recommendations about my Forester.

Service was quick and reasonably priced. I do have one minor issue to discuss with service advisor whom I have e-mailed. Nothing major.
From the beginning, I’ve told the staff that I was registered into a warranty plan. Needed to bring in my vehicle for a tire replacement, and I thought that my max payment would be $50 based on the finance agreement. Got there and was quoted 225 per tire with the possibility of needing alln4 changed based on ware. Given that I was using a doughnut, I went in anyway. They charged me for the service, luckily only 1 tire. I had to insist they review my agreement, and it turned out that I was actually covered. No change necessary. My upset is that they charged me for the replacement, but on my request for a review, had to reimburse. Bottom line not as seamless as expected. And if I didn’t push, I would have had an unnecessary charge.
April was great. Pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable.
