The service was great at Clinton Auto Group. Chrysler needs to do a safety recall on thsliding passenger doors. They do not work properly, don't open. If I had an accident and needed to escape by my sliding passenger doors. I would not be able to open them. There needs to be a recall on the automatic sliding doors on the Town and Country vans.

I dealt with a problem that went undiagnosed after I had a necessary repair. However, the problem finally was discovered and resolved. It's too bad I had to deal with it for so long but glad it's finally fixed.

I called last week to make an appointment for an oil change and to take care of some recalls on my Ford Explorer. The only reason I made the appointment was for the recalls...for just an oil change I would prefer to stay in my town and go to a small business mechanic. When I made the appointment I was advised the recall repairs would take several hours. I did debate a little as I knew I would have my 3 year old with me and it would be a long time to wait around, but made the appointment. Within 10minutes I called back and got a different person on the phone- I explained the situation and questioned how long just one recall repair would take. This person let me know a shuttle service was offered. I did let her know I live and morrison and asked if the shuttle would go that far...she checked into it and said yes, so I left the appointment as it was. Today I get there and before they even pulled my car in for work reconfirmed that there was a shuttle available, as I would not be able to sit for the 3+ hours I was quoted for the recall repairs, only to find out driver was gone and wouldn't be back. I went ahead with the oil change, since it really needed done, but it is annoying to be told in advance the service would be offered, and then nobody seemed aware of it once I was there. Now I have to carve out time another day to take my car in. The really irritating part is that I was told "make sure you tell us you need shuttle service when you call back for the appointment on the recall". Well, I did that before and that didn't get me anywhere. Additionally, I was getting mixed messages on whether the shuttle would even go as far as Morrison. Generally, your employees were friendly and the oil change didn't seem to take long, but the miscommunication across the board left a bad taste in my mouth. No need to call me to discuss further.
