I have been getting my car serviced at this location for two years now. Prior to each service day, I make an appointment online, one day advanced, via the dealership website. It is absolutely pointless to make an appointment as it is not honored and “walk-ins” are welcomed by other customers. Furthermore, with my recent visit (09/19/2021), Travis Hardy had mentioned my appointment had not transferred over to the dealership’s proprietary software. As I mentioned to him I had made the appointment, he went on to check the box that I did not make an appointment on the invoice when in fact I did make the appointment, despite he verbally acknowledged that he will take my word of my appointment. Since appointments are not honored, I had to endure a 30 minute wait for a service advisor to check me into my service session. If the dealership offers appointments, they should be honored. They should implement some sort of system to prioritize customers who take the time to make an appointment. Otherwise, it is an utter waste of time to make an appointment and have a system to create an appointment. In addition to the pointless appointment system, it is infuriating that the price of an engine air filter change for a 2018 Honda Civic LX is the same price as an oil change and regular inspection. Both services differ in parts costs, labor time and labor costs. As a result, I purchased an aftermarket air filter and installed it in a matter of 10 minutes. A 10 minute job and $30 genuine Honda air filter (as confirmed by Travis Hardy) does not justify a price of $59.99 service fee. I understand the cost of labor is $150/hour for technicians (as confirmed by Travis Hardy); therefore, the engine air filter change should be mathematically coherent to that labor rate and installation time. Moving on, the quote to change the AC air filter and inspect the drive belt was $89.99. I purchased an aftermarket AC air filter and installed it in less than ten minutes. Then, I proceeded to inspect the drive belt per industry standards, despite current standards dictate the longevity of drive belts at 5 years or 100K miles (my vehicle has 84K miles). Continuing on, my services were performed on the weekend. The wait to see a service advisor was 30 minutes. This was due to a lack of employees. This is unacceptable for a weekend day. Customers are generally more available on the weekends and that should justify the availability of more service advisors. This is never an issue on the weekdays, when I generally have services performed, which is quite irrational. Most customers are physically at work and unable to have vehicle services performed. Lastly, during my last three visits, I have not received a car wash, despite it is part of the service package. This is due to the commonly provided reason that the equipment is inoperational. I am sure the costs of the car wash are calculated into the general service cost. If a car wash is not offered, the general service cost should be lower. Yet, I am still charged the same service cost.

I’ll give Spreen the benefit of the doubt about the dealership opening 5 minutes late and only having 2 advisors. But being unable to obtain complete quote on tires and this is after asking via your website’s chat for a quote the day before which was ignored is unacceptable. My advisor had no knowledge about tires, even something as simple as informing me whether or not my current factory tires were passenger or truck tires. When he came back to the desk after going to ask Parts he brought me only one option and when I queried him about what type of tires they were his answer was “Bridgestone.” I told him I needed more than the brand, but he didn’t know and said I’d have to speak with parts. I was hoping to include the new tires with my service but gave up at that point. While I did see that the usual car wash was not being done currently I listened to another advisor tell his client they would try to do this still AND my text message informing me my truck was ready stated I needed to wait 15 minutes before arriving so my vehicle could be washed. It’s either being done or it’s not but be consistent! And if it isn’t, change your text message! When I picked up my truck and I questioned him why my truck’s code was showing B13 service when I had my transmission fluid replaced the last time and I only had driven 20,000 miles and he had already told me the code came up at 30,000 miles. He could not explain this. I also asked about his chart showing that my rear brakes measured 5, yet at my February 2021 service the measurements were 4. He told me those measurements must have been incorrect. All of my services have been done at this location, but at this point I won’t be back. An owner needs to trust their service advisor and I do not.

Incomplete service. Brought my car for oil change and tire rotation and only oil change was done. I had high regards for service dept since 1992 or so, now not sure If I trust them.

Service was done quick. There was another service advisor that even came out and helped. There was a honk sound when turning on the car and the other advisor pointed out the issue and fixed it before I left the dealer. I appreciate that he was not even assuring us and came out and fixed the issue. Thanks
