Service advisor promised to apply inspection amount to final bill during initial consult, then backtracked when reminded during time to pay.
Only after waiting in line 3 times and service advisor getting flushed, I received a small credit on my bill (still paid than what was originally promised).
Not planning on returning anytime soon.
Lily was great but she told me things that were “recommended at my last oil change / MPI and I was not told about them before.
After owing and using Toyota service plans with each purchase of my new car, I’m just tired of the upsell of service and lack of customer retention efforts. I pay a fortune for the service plan that supposedly covers your vehicle for all the usual service but then surprise, you want your tires rotated, air filters changed, windshield wipers changed, $50, $100, $200 bucks.

The service technicians have a problem.
Had my shocks replaced, she damage where they worked.
Bought 5 new tires see damage on the rims from removing lug nuts.
Which would not happen to if they slowed down.
Edge of couple of rims were repaired not replaced but chips by lug nuts can still be found on all wheels.
Had weather stripping replaced, asked if they can use tape so the vinyl trim or paint isn’t damaged of course they didn’t and a scratch on the vinyl trim.
Had a damaged rear bumper, ordered a new one and it was almost as damaged as old one. Dane was awesome and replaced. Then a service visit after that the new bumper was scratched and instead of replacing was plastic painted.
Missing a few examples over my 10 years of my vehicle getting serviced.
Toyota service department ( Dane and now Lily) always try to help resolve problems. I like to drop my vehicle off for service and pick it up in same condition or better than I dropped off( I.e. repaired correctly).
This is normally the case with Frontier Toyota…that is why I’m a loyal customer, but these hand full of experiences should never have happened!
I am not a complainer and it takes a lot for me to start.
Have no problem leaving my vehicle as long as is needed to slowly and carefully be work on it. Don’t want discounts or cosmetic repairs, just want my vehicle back the way I dropped off…is that too much to ask?
Positive experience in dealing with Angel, very accomodating & good technical knowledge! makes you feel comfortable speaking with him!
