Brought our car in for the usual maintenance. I bought prepaid maintenance through Toyota. Lately, with the change in weather the tire pressure light goes off. We asked the service team to check the tire during this visit. We were told by the service department that there is a nail on the side of the tire. We opted not to get it fixed at Toyota because there is a trusted local tire shop that we go to for our other vehicles that has needed tire service. Long story short - no nail in the tire and it had zero problems. I have been driving my car and the tire pressure gauge is just fine. I have been a frontier Toyota customer for years. However, this recent experience makes me think of unethical business practices that may be happening at this location. It certainly makes me distrust the service center and their feedback.

I am glad I checked my vehicle while still at Toyota (Frontier) after it was serviced, because to my dismay and great disappointment, the work that was done was not checked by the technician before returning it to me signed off that it WAS in satisfactory resolved condition. IT WASN’T and ISN’T I quickly returned to Mr Frank ****to bring this error to his attention. He tried examining the car, tried to fix the problem, but agrees it isn’t repaired as signed off and now I need to return (again) for them to remedy and strive to do it right THIS TIME. While Mr ****is the Manager of the dept., becuz I have had multiple issues in the past with Toyota Service Dept. I chose to go directly to him to ensure the work would be handled accurately. Today’s experience continues to make me feel a sense of a lack of confidence in your company when an experience like today occurs, AGAIN.
