We appreciated the great service performed on our Kia Soul and the professionalism of the service writer. But when we went to the cashier to pay for the services that was not covered by the manufacturer, our bill came to over four hundred dollars. When the receptionist was questioned about why it cost so much for just an oil change and coolant change, she told us that part of the cost was for a portion of the Catalytic converter repair. We informed her that all the repairs pertaining to the Catalytic converter was suppose to be covered by the manufacturer. Upon confirmation, she said that we were right and apologized and the closing bill came to $215 plus tax. We were relieved and satisfied with the results but we would have end up paying the higher amount if we didn't say anything. I think there should be a better communication between the service writers and the cashiers. I'm giving Valley Hi Kia a 5 star because we feel we were treated properly, received updates, and very satisfied with the end result.
