The only issue I had with my service was that one of the recommended services - replacing spark plugs - that the service manager suggested to me was one that had already been performed on my vehicle. Changing spark plugs is recommended every 110,000 miles on my vehicle and it had been performed within the past 35K Miles by Honda of Concord. At $345, that isn’t a small issue and if I had not checked my records and had simply accepted the SM recommendation (as most people do) then I would have just been out $345. When I brought it to the SM attention, they looked it up and said that it was coded as something else in the system. I don’t believe that the mistake was Intentional, but the dealership should either change the way that your services are labeled in your system so that they’re identified easier or make sure that the techs are doing their due diligence when looking through the vehicle service history. Again, $345 is nothing to sneeze at and it certainly makes me extra wary of accepting service recommendations from Honda of Concord.

The service writer was perfect, because he listen carefully to my recent experience having issues with my vehicle, test drove, he had an auto tech check for certain parts possibly worn and he came back agreeing there was a part A part needing to be replaced. He schedule an appointment for me to return once the part he order would be in and once came into the dealership today, he made sure everything was handled in a timely manner keeping his word on the time frame the vehicle would be ready and even had the auto tech test drive the my vehicle to assure the issue was resolved. I was told it good to drive now and if further problems come up with my vehicle, he said return and he’ll make sure I’m taken care of. You couldn’t ask for more from a service writer who listen carefully allowing the customer to bring across there view of their experience with recent problems and making sure of finding the problem with a solution and taking care of the customer. I was an auto tech and mostly alignment tech for years in my younger days and this my friend would make a perfect service writer Goodyear look for out of a service manager. Perfect!
