Replacement keys didn't work and both parts department and service could not figure it out. Since the keys were useless service helped get parts to issue refund but parts complained they don't do that or usually charge restocking fee, but useless cut keys??

Hello,
I went in for a tire replacement. Which was not in stock. The rep there was very helpful but he put a service recall for my vehicle ahead of my tire replacement. I agreed to that because I believed it would be done at the same time. It wasn't until about an hour later that I went back to check for a phone charger that he then checked for the availability of the tire which turned out not to be in stock. If I had known that the was the case I would have come back at another day since the recall service was not a priority for me.
I didnt get the recall service done nor the tire replacement, I had to leave for other reasons. And when I called back a few hours later after I had left, to order the tire (because it wasn't available at another dealer) they told me that I had to go in person, even though I had just been there a few hours earlier.
They were nice enough to replace it with my spare, but I just didn't understand why do I had to be there in person to order a tire when I had just left earlier. I'm also disappointed that the Rep didn't understand the urgency of getting my tired replaced.
