This review is NOT a review of Austin Becker who did a fine job coordinating our difficult service issue challenge on behalf of McGrath. Austin did an outstanding job directing Jeffrey Patryn to patiently work with my wife to help program and resolve her iPhone connection issue. Austin helped to collaboratively work with Jeffrey to get the vehicle checked in for Service Tech needed reset of the system to allow for final system setup. Our service issues are due to McGrath system - communication issues. We love both of our Honda vehicles and have used McGrath Elgin numerous times. It seems that each service, the notes and details do not appear to be clear or thorough enough for subsequent service consultants to computer access and come up to speed so there is smooth understanding and movement from prior actions. If McGrath Elgin can bolster your service records system so that there is Crystal clarity in looking up customers, specific vehicles and prior issues with service interactions clearly indicated chronologically it could greatly smooth out Tech Service consulting and customer communication - satisfaction. Again: your staff is impressive, diligently seeks to provide outstanding service. McGrath Elgin providing the system and procedural support can help your staff to further shine. Luis was wonderful as always! Made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. Never pushy but always personable, I didn’t feel pressured to get any services done that I didn’t come in, for. Everything was explained and reviewed and I felt comfortable as Luis went over the services being performed as well as those that were additionally available.
I always feel comfortable in the waiting area, and wait time was good! McGrath Honda has always been a go-to for my husband and I and we’ve always had a great experience.

I had scheduled service and considered a trade. Only two issues happened. First, Sales kept my keys for an hour for appraisal, so service ended up taking almost 3 hours. Second the coupon mentioned for alignment wasn’t used, paid $20 more than intended but didn’t check while still there. Was over by $20.

Everything was great. The only part I questioned was the car wash. My family wanted to know why I only washed half of my car. It looked very odd because the passenger side was still covered in salt. I appreciate the wash but it made the car look even worse. Not the end of the world but I just wanted to let you know.

With a new Honda vehicle purchased, I got the oil change + multi-point inspection and car wash included. Apparently my oil pan drain plug was stripped but it wasn't leaking until service opened it. Not sure if they stripped it or if it was bonded on from the previous owner. There was a good amount of leaves and debris left on the dashboard from inspection of the cabin air filter. The car wash only got half of my car. The sales and service staff were very nice and treated me well but the maintaince done seemed sloppy. Overall I'd give 3.9/5.0. Regardless, thank you for servicing my new Honda!

Eddy was ok. The overall experience was not great. The first time I took the car in my wife felt like she was taken advantage of because she was a woman. When I took it in for a follow up visit because of the bad service from the first visit. My alignment was thrown off, one tire has a fast leak that it didn't have before and the lever to open the hood is almost broken off. The only reason I went to you in the first place was for the oil change that came with the car deal. I won't be coming back for any repairs that I'm not even sure are needed.
