The representative who was assigned to me Awais Shabbair initially came off very passive. I explained to him that I got a fab/remote starter key that I accidentally put in the washing machine, since then the key has been draining the battery. I asked if there was any way he can provide me with a rough estimate on the cost for a replacement key/fab -without given much thought he said “no” I need the key, we need to make sure there’s no communication issues. I left it alone and proceeded to just get my service and leave. After my service was completed I again asked him, and explain to him that the key works but, it drains the battery - I told him it was an Acura remote starter, I showed him the picture / provided him with serial number and while he was still hesitant to do the leg work, he decided to call parts. Parts gave him a rough estimate of the price (which is all I wanted) when I asked, can I order it now? He said no, you will have to call parts and do it. This is the part that I am baffled about?! What kind of service is this? It really seemed like he was too lazy to do any extra work, what happen to the above and beyond for customers. I work in healthcare there’s no way I cannot go above and beyond my call of duty to help someone/a patient. I say If you do not like dealing with customers/patients then find something that is best suitable for you. No need to be short with customers, and no need to hand them off to someone else when you can potentially help out. I will be returning to my previous service dealer McGrath downtown. Best, Nuria
