Brought my vehicle in due to emission light being on. I explained when making the phone call and upon arrival that it came on when my gas cap light came on. I explained the issue was likely related and would assume the light didn’t clear when I tightened gas cap. Figured it would be a simple diagnostic test. Service associate explained they were also going to run a multipoint check, ok. An hour into my experience I was told the emission light was on due to the loose gas cap, yeah got that. Then was explained the suggested new wipers, tire rotation, tire alignment and new brake fluid. I said sure will it be an hour, yes. 2 hours later I recieved my car. Had my briefcase with me and was not anticipating a 3 hour trip for what I would presume is quick routine maintenance. Took an hour and a half longer than what I would’ve expected. Perhaps it was a staffing issue but seemed there were more than enough people working and no real sense of urgency as I waited the last 20 minutes in the garage hoping my presence would speed matters up.
