I was disappointed. raceway is the third Ford Service Center that I’ve taken my 2019 Ford Explorer to. The first two experiences were extremely poor. I had higher expectations of Raceway based on the online reviews. I was impressed, at first. I was given straight answers of what was needed to repair the fuel door and assured that it would only take a day if I could leave the car. I explained that I could only leave it for one day and assured that it would be ready. My wife and I work different location with my job in Diamond Bar. I adjusted my meeting schedule to be free or online for one day. At then end of the day on the day the work was supposed to be completed, I called the service center to make sure the car was ready to be picked up at 6:00 pm since I hadn’t heard from anyone. I was informed that the car wasn’t ready and that the technician had left for the day. Since my wife and I were left with only one vehicle for a second day, I had to rearrange several in person meeting again inconveniencing other attendees. The lack of communication was unacceptable. If the service deptartment had been upfront with me that it could take more than a day or, when the technician began work and realized they it couldn’t be finished and contacted me immediately, it would have been more acceptable. I do appreciate the fact that I was contacted early the next day although it was too late for me to pick up the car and conducts my meetings. I do appreciate the fact that I was given the option to have the car delivered to me in Riverside. It still leaves a bad experience that I can’t count on any Ford service center to provide acceptable customer service.
