I am completely upset and frustrated by the service I received at Lexus. I have been to Lexus service for a few years now and have usually received exemplary service. I came in for wheel balance & rotation and to have the left headlight looked at because it was intermittently coming on and off. I informed Lexus that the tires were new since December 2020 and the bulb was a new OEM Sylvania HID bulb installed by a mechanic. I voiced my concern that it could be the wiring or the ballast. The Lexus rep started off by telling me to switch to a know. Name brand tire and to switch out to a new Lexus OEM bulb. Without performing any diagnostic tests on the wheels or on the wiring for the headlight or the ballasts. Needless to say, with my persistence, to balance the wheels, they did determine the rim was bent and it was NOT a tire issue. They relaxed the bulb any ways, without testing, I go home and at night the headlight issue persists and I am still having the same problem. Now I need to schedule time to drive back to San Jose from Santa Cruz because again proper root cause analysis wasn’t performed and my concerns weren’t addressed. Unacceptable for the amount of money paid for diagnostic services. I could have taken the Lexus to a local shop in Santa Cruz had the same level of shoddy service where they eyeball the problem and don’t actually perform any analysis on the root cause of the issue.

Michael was friendly and communicated well what the potential issues were. He was very knowledgeable and honest about the assessments and provided much of the details that I needed. He patiently answered all my questions and I was very glad to be able to get a loaner and have the front brakes all repaired within hours on the same day. He also gave useful advise for the tire problem when I picked up the car. Overall it was an excellent experience.
