Alfredo was very nice and was able to answer all of my questions regarding my CR-V. You can tell that his priority is making sure customers are fully knowledgeable with all services being offered for their vehicle.

Juan was courteous and professional. Byron, too, worked kindly to address my concerns. They though are the faces of a scheduling system that is completely careless towards its customers’ time. I called two weeks in advance to get an appt for an oil change and arrived 15 min earlier than my scheduled appt for 11 on Sat 10/16. I was told because so many cars were ahead of me, I would not likely have my job completed unti 3-4:00. 5 hours for an oil change when an appointment was scheduled is absurd. Juan informed me my appt was only to speak to him, not to get my car serviced. What then is the point of an appointment if I will lose my whole day if walkins get in the same technician’s line as those with an appointment? Be up front with people that when making an appointment that it could still be 5 hours to get their oil changed! I can think of no other business where making an appointment means absolutely nothing. Can you imagine making a hair appt and then being told once you are there that the appointment was only to check in with the receptionist and that your wait to see your stylist could be 5 hours later and thank you for your patience. If I gave appts in my line of work and then only after they arrived told them they might be done in 4 hrs bc other people without appts checked in ahead of them, I would in short turn around have no customers. Can you imagine this business model at a restaurant— having a reservation and then being told you might eat in 4-5 hours?! So yes, Juan and Byron did as well as they could in this situation, but the constraints placed on them by a business model with complete disregard for their customer’s time is beyond the pale. May I suggest a scheduling model I have seen elsewhere that there is a line for those with appointments and a line for walkins? I think this would be much more reasonable, especially in a time when the shuttle service is on hiatus. Thanks for asking.
