I just wanted to give some feedback about a service I had done. I want to say normally you’re department is amazing all the staff are always so helpful and willing to answer my questions. I come from Santa Cruz and I take all my cars to Piercey because you guys do such a great job. This past service wasn’t as great though. I left my car around 11:30am-12 yesterday 7/1/19 wanting to get an oil change and then I thought I would surprise my mom with an interior detail on her car so I went ahead and requested that be done. Brady called me later that day and told me the car would be ready today before 11 today 7/2/19, which it was supposedly ready at that time but I feel like the detail was not worth the amount I paid. There was still dirt in areas as of it weren’t even vacuumed. I grabbed a hand wipe and dirt came off and left a mark like they didn’t even condition the leather. There were grease finger prints left on the a/c controls. There was stuff in the seats like it wasn’t even vacuumed. I will forward some pictures for you to see for yourself. I just feel like I would’ve gotten a better job done at the local car wash and it would’ve been less than 40 dollars in comparison and they would’ve done a better job. If there is anyway I could get a refund for the service I would greatly appreciate it. I really don’t think it was worth my time or money leaving it over night. I didn’t have time to talk with a manager at the time because I had to be back for work at 1pm in Santa Cruz this is why I decided to email the department head, Ken Johnson.

Upon arrival I was quoted at two hours for my 5,000 mile maintenance and possible needed recall. My service advisor said they would definitely keep me updated, as well as letting me know the status of the needed recall. There was a chance they didn’t have the part in, but he believed they did.
The two hours were waited, and also the extra 15 minutes as per the quoted time on the paper. My service advisor was no where to be found. I found another gentleman, and he said they were still working on it, but it should be done soon.
I waited the additional 45 minutes to bring it to 3 hours. I went up to my service Advisor and asked for an update. He seemed to not even know who I was and scrambled through all of his paperwork. He said he would check in on it, called into the service area, and told the other person on the line he needed my work “done now.” He then hung up, typed away on his computer, and then said the truck was ready.
A couple minutes after waiting there, he then had me sign some papers. He said the recall part was not replaced, but it was on order. I asked, why I had to wait an additional hour, but no extra work was done. He went on about how they had to take the part apart just to be able to tell what piece was needed to be ordered and they would order it because it was VIN specific. This made absolutely no sense, and sounded completely made up. Even if it was the truth, it sounded ridiculous and made me feel as if this location is anything but transparent.
I then went outside to wait for the truck and multiple folks tried to help, which was nice. The only unfortunate thing was, they pulled the truck up from an area where I noticed it was sitting there for a very long time. How are you going to make me wait 3 hours, make up some excuse, and then pull up the truck after it was sitting there for who knows how long?
Very very unfortunate and poor experience for my first service at Piercey Toyota. I had a great purchasing experience, but after this, I don’t know how I feel about this establishment.
