There was a misunderstanding regarding the type of service requested. I requested an oil change and an estimate for a leaking power steering line. I already knew the line leaked. The service department charged me an inspection fee. I am not upset. Service department is wonderful. This might help avoid similar issue in future with another customer.

I’ve never had a bad experience at a ford dealer until I visited Alton Blakley. This is largely due to Amanda’s unprofessional, unhelpful behavior. My truck is covered under a powertrain warranty. I was stranded out of town due to a powertrain issue. I couldn’t even get a straight answer on a loaner until I escalated to the GM. I had to pay $200 for a hotel because the dealer didn’t have a loaner and wouldn’t get a rental car. They gave me a loaner the next day. It didn’t have a spare tire. The tire blew out on a public county road. I got stranded again…Amanda made me pay the tow back to the dealer. Amanda also said the wheel was unusable (it wasn’t) and made me pay $1500 for a replacement before they would release my truck. Amanda also tried to get me to pay for my oil change…didn’t even realize my truck had a service package. So Im out almost $2000 because my truck failed in Somerset. Sickening.

As I drove home from the garage several lights came on my dash warning me that certain things were not working. Trac was off and the collision warning was not engaged nor did the downhill descent assistance work. And the last one was the ABS was off. None of this was worked on. They put a wheel bearing in my truck. I will be there early Friday morning to get this corrected. I have always had success with Alton Blakley so this time I was surprised.
