On September 9th, I took my car to Wondries Toyota for service. On the morning of September 10th, I started the car and discovered that the tires were locked. I contacted Wondries Toyota, and they told me to have my car towed to their service department. On the morning of September 11th, I towed my car to Wondries Toyota, where service representative Wu Di informed me that my brake pads were severely worn and needed to be replaced at a cost of $600. The problem is, the September 9th service included a brake system inspection. Why didn't Wondries Toyota notice that the brake pads needed to be replaced? As a result, on September 10th, my car was immobilized due to locked tires, delaying my work. If I didn't pay the $600 brake pad replacement fee, I would have to pay the $215 inspection fee. I feel this service is unreasonable. If I had been informed of the need for brake pad replacement during the September 9th service, the significant delays and lost work on September 10th and 11th could have been avoided.
