Had emergency- we live in Georgia-Dropped daughter’s car off on a Sunday. Called advisor all week-never got him on the phone….communication back was poor at best. You never even got my car in for inspection until Mon or Tues of the next week! Price was $1500 higher than competitor and they buy their transmissions from Nissan. Warranty is the same. Staff operated like they were under-staffed. Diagnostic fee was high if all you did was look at codes. Not sure

When I brought my car for service on 6/5/24, I informed the rep about my carmax warranty. The rep did communicate with maxcare but didn’t communicate with me that the rental car was only approved for 5 days. After multiple attempts to get the status of my car, it was finally ready after 14 days. Maxcare stated that the work should’ve only taken 5 days & the contract for rentals are usually 7 days. Therefore I had to put out unnecessary money due to the lack of communication from the rep. Very annoying, especially when the rep told me they reached out to MaxCare. Very disappointed

The service at this center was completely unacceptable. It took over two weeks to complete a relatively straightforward repair, and throughout that time, communication was horrible and non-existent. My service advisor, Dave, was consistently unresponsive and unprofessional. I called numerous times for updates—nine out of ten times he was unavailable, and despite leaving multiple voicemails, I never received a single call back.
Dave repeatedly claimed he would keep me updated on the status of my vehicle, yet I was left in the dark for days on end. For example, five days after I had left my car at the workshop, I got a call from Dave telling me it would be checked next. Six days after that, I was told the issue was a faulty starter motor and that it would be fixed the next day, only to wait another five days before I was informed the car was finally ready.
This timeline reflects not only gross mismanagement but a complete disregard for the customer’s time and trust. No one ever had the courtesy to inform me of delays or set realistic expectations. For a workshop that charges nearly double the market rate for parts and labor, the service quality is downright appalling. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing.
