Let my son,the last time he took his car in, he said the brakes were on the yellow and needed new brakes the next time he comes in. Fast forward to his current service, he said the brakes were at green and apparently didn't need changed. He said he will be going somewhere else to get his brakes replaced.

My concern: Since the somewhat new system involves a message and description including photos of suggested repairs from your techs , my 139$ oil change , inspection and rotation quickly escalated to well over a thousand dollars .
I usually pass on these unless it’s something I deem necessary at the time of service but I have to wonder ☝️
How many elderly customers feel these obvious attempts at
“ up charges “ are an absolute necessity and feel they must complete these out of fear their vehicle may fail ????
I’ve been using your service department for over 20 years and as long as I remain Toyota loyal I will continue to but let’s be realistic, a suggested increase of over a thousand bucks when you come in for an oil change is a bit much to digest.
Just my opinion.
