It took 10 day to fix a car. Luck of communication and updates on the process. The dealership did not cover any expenses although the car is new and I was a new customer. I did not have a second car so had to spend money on Uber to get to work. Expenses on that were not covered as well.

I have made multiple requests for copies of my invoice and documentation of the work completed on my Kona EV and have not received a reply. I have also asked for an explanation of what had caused my 12v battery to fail and have also not received a response.

I came in for the recommended service appointment at 6-7k miles. The car is barely at 3k miles, but I kept receiving calls and emails to bring the car in. I purchased the car in February 2025 and had significant alignment issues that were fixed in April ( please check your records for the relevant details). During this visit’s drop off I mentioned to Oscar that the car was pulling to the right again and that I wanted to have the alignment checked. His response was that “cars are made to pull to the right so that they don’t hit each other and all roads are designed to tilt to the right”. He used his phone and a stapler to “show me “ why cars are designed that way and that it’s “normal”. I was shocked by his dismissive comments and behavior. The car did end up having alignment issues again that were fixed during the appointment. When the car was ready, the keys were dropped on Oscar’s desk. He wasn’t there. I waited 30 minutes and got up to ask another rep to check to see if those were my car keys. They were. The other rep helped to release the car back to me. The car was not washed and the steering wheel was black (I wiped it before driving off off). Please call me if you need any additional information regarding the visit and Oscar’s comments regarding the alignment concerns I raised.

It took three weeks for me to get my car back. It would have been helpful to get call back on status updates. My husband called and said that he would get a call back since my advisor was sick that day. We never got a call back. Finally I had to go there to get a status update. The whole dealership service office is always short staff. When we dropped off our car, we had to wait half an hour because all the advisors were shortstaffed, and Danny was the only one working. This office needs to be better managed.

After I was texted that my car was done, I called 9 times, left 3 messages over the course of 2 hours 10 minutes before I reached a human who then sent a Lyft so I could pick up my car. It was very inefficient and inconvenient as well as frustrating.
