I’ve been a customer at Advantage Toyota for a couple of years now, but my most recent visit left me extremely disappointed. I set up an appointment under my name, explained the service I needed, and provided all of the details about the vehicle. Despite that, when it came time to review the paperwork and go over the service, the advisor completely disregarded me and instead handed everything to the man who accompanied me giving him the pen to sign the tablet and directing all communication to him.
This was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. As the person who scheduled the appointment and provided the service details, I expected to be treated as the customer, not ignored in favor of someone else simply because of outdated assumptions. The experience came across as dismissive and frankly sexist, which is unacceptable in 2025.
Dealerships should understand that respect and clear communication with the actual customer is non-negotiable. This experience has made me question continuing my business here, and I hope management takes situations like this seriously.
