This is the second time that happens to me. Apparently they don't seal properly when changing the oil and the oil is leaking. Today I will take it for you to verify.

During the scheduling conversation I mentioned an active recall. The recall need wasn’t taken care of or explained why not by the Service Rep. The Maintenance Book lists spark plugs being replaced at 60K miles. This replacement didn’t happen and wasn’t suggested along with the air filters the Maintenance Book and received text message suggested be replaced. When I was told my car was ready the Service Tech then said the filters were found dirty and suggested replacing them. I informed him I sent an approval response to the Toyota Service text message. The Service Rep then said he’d have the filter cost added to my bill and that would only take a couple of minutes to change. If the Service Rep was unaware of the text conversations between I and the Maintenance Tech this leaves me wondering if the Service Rep and Maintenance Tech talked about the actual actions performed on the vehicle. I would’ve trusted the costs for said maintenance performed had the Service Rep informed me what was actually done versus telling me suggestions at the car ready time then when I informed him about the text messaging then the cost for filter replacements was then added to the bill. Very friendly staff yet I was left uncertain if the air filters were actually changed out. The costs for them were added to my bill after I told the Service Rep I approved replacement via text. I thought the Service Rep was suppose to be fully aware of all maintenance performed on the vehicle plus be able to explain reasons why needed recalls weren’t performed. Thank you for the oil change, tire rotation and multi point inspection.
