I originally brought my vehicle to akins for my appointment scheduled at 8am for a tire rotation/balance and an alignment. I was unfortunately informed at 10am that the alignment on my vehicle was unable to be performed due to rusty bolts, but was not informed until checking progress of repairs due to personal time obligations which also turned out to be the same time the service writer told me my vehicle was done. I am unhappy that the technician or writer did not come and get me to show me the said issue at the time the vehicle was up on the alignment rack so i could see exactly what the problem was. There seemed to be a miscommunication between the service drive writer and the service writer that came from quick lane because the female writer clearly had no idea that there was a problem until she noticed there was no charge for the alignment when we were closing my work order. This possibly could've been avoided and i would’ve been happy to leave the vehicle if authorization was all that was needed to proceed with said repairs having to deal with questionably compromised hardware possibly leading to further repairs. I brought my vehicle to akins specifically because i know the integrity of the repairs being made by this company meet and exceed industry standards, and i am very pleased with the ride quality my rotate and balance has produced. I am also pleased with the interaction that i had with the female service lane writer as she was helpful and courteous. My only problem was the alignment issue being punctually communicated with me and of course the alignment that i was unable to have performed.

Oil change was good but the check engine light came on the next morning. Came by to get it checked, stated the catalytic converter, had it reset now I hope things are good. Will have to wait and see .
