t’s nothing against Akins. I think it’s more a Ford issue. It is VERY frustrating to have to choose to buy a new battery for one that is still under warranty, to ensure my wife and grandchild are safe for a 10-hour drive this week. A warranty that will provide replacement only if the battery is dead does not help at all if I have a stranded wife and young grandchild on the road. Being asked to pay an additional $250 for a warranted product is extremely disappointing.
