Due to circumstances with your computer program service expiring and issues with availability with your bays, our F-750 truck was at your shop for approximately 2 months. The unit was diagnosed by West Foeet services and we were told it is the def quality sensor. confirming diagnoses that a sensor in the tank would need to be replaced and waiting on that part the service was performed. I was told the vehicle was driven and cleared of all check engine lights. After picking up the unit and driving approximately 40 miles back to our shop both check engine lights returned. It also has been challenging in regards to communication and getting updates and responses from the shop. We were charged $3582.67 for this repair which did not solve any issues. I hope concessions can be made in rages to the charges that did not fix the issue.

Too much to say about y’all!!! Love Akins! We WILL NOT go anywhere else…ever. Long story short about today. I was certain I needed rear brakes/made the appointment and our mechanic checked it out and, instead of just replacing them, he/she told us we were OK. Saved us almost $300 critical bucks and probably ruined his/her day having an oil change on the rack for three hours. I’ll bring that $300 back plus (I need tires, plugs…) because, again, not going anywhere else.

**** in Service Dept was superb in communication throughout a transmission issue that was thought to be an expensive repair. But his tech found a much less expensive way of repair, saving me thousands. Super customer and technical service! And learned via a prior experience a week earlier to never take it to another local Ford shop while it sat for 8 days and nothing was found. Akins quickly found the issue!
