I believe the worker’s names I worked with were Makayla & Nick, who were both great! Nick communicated everything clearly to me and answered all questions. However, I have been trying to fix my gas tank issue on my 2020 RAV4 XSE for a year and it seems like Toyota doesn’t want to fix the issue. I’ve mentioned it every time I’ve had an appointment and always get told to come back. When I made this appointment I told the person on the phone that I wanted it looked at during my service appointment so I can schedule that appt finally which should be covered under my car’s warranty. The individual said she’d made a note of it on my appt. When I checked in I mentioned it to Makayla that it should be under the notes and I told Nick as well about the issue.
My appt which normally takes 1 hour took 3 hours because they changed a couple filters and Nick did ask if I was in a rush since I drove almost an hour and a half to get there. I told him I wasn’t but I didn’t expect the appt to take 3 hours.
When I was leaving I asked about scheduling the follow up appointment for the gas tank and I was told that a tech needed to look at the gas tank first before scheduling this appt. Another man asked if I had more time to wait so a tech could look but Toyota had already had 3 hours and 3 different verbal cues to have a tech look. Why didn’t they look when they had a chance? Plus I was already made late for 2 appts back home on the coast.
Not sure how a tech analysis fell through the cracks when I verbalized my needs 3 times but this was frustrating.
Otherwise happy with Toyota and have only had a good experience in the service appts I’ve had. Hoping my next appt remedies my gas tank issue where it’s not filling up to max capacity, a well documented issue with the 2020 XSEs.

When purchased car at your dealership, understood oil changes were free and no mention of 10000 intervals for the free changes up to 2 years.
I was only charged $40 but my friends and I change oil every 5000.
I do a lot of short trips versus highway driving. One friend purchased rav 4 at another dealership and not restricted to 10000 miles for free changes,
Max is a good employee but unsure how and why the charge of $40 came about. And if come back at 15000 miles, will the oil change be free or charged? If so how much as McMinnville is out of my way. Ty
