In the past I have had fantastic service and always preferred to bring my MDX to Acura over anywhere else. Unfortunately this time was not a great experience. I had a 7am scheduled appointment and was asked to drop my car off the night before so it could be worked on immediately the following morning. I dropped off my MDX the night beforehand as asked, and also confirmed via text for my scheduled appointment. My car was never looked at on the scheduled day and was not diagnosed. I texted my service advisor at 11am that morning to check in and he responded that he would call when he had an update. I called at 1230 and he was not available so I left a voicemail. My phone call was never returned. At 530 I called the service department to see what was going on with my car and they had no information and I was told there was no loaners available. The lack of communication is unacceptable as I should have been told I would not be getting my car back that evening. I had to scramble to find a car available as I needed to leave for work at 730am the next day. This is not the type of service I expect from Acura. I have always had excellent service and unfortunately this service was poor.
