My telephone number was incorrect in the system. When I brought my car in I asked Nancy to correct it, but when I came back a week later to pick up my car I asked her about it and it still hadn’t been corrected. She did fix it before I left though. Also, my car was in your shop for a week, and I never once got a single call from Nancy or anyone to provide me with updates. I just kept calling every 2 or 3 days and they said they still hadn’t found a reason for the check engine light. Then, after my third call into them, they said I could come pick it up. I didn’t need the car right away, so this wasn’t too big of a deal. But, someone who only has one car might need prompt notification of updates i.e. for rental car purposes while their vehicle is in your shop. I will say though, Nancy did seem overwhelmed and overworked while I was there, so maybe there aren’t enough service desk workers, or someone was out on vacation or something?

Timeliness. I understand the difficulties in diagnosing a mechanical/electrical issue. 2 1/2+ weeks is a considerable time for a customer to go without their primary means of transportation though.
I am happy with the service and the competence of your employees. The timeline is concerning though, not all your customers are as fortunate as I to have access to a back up vehicle.

What heavily needs to be improved is communication and notifying. I went in expecting to just reprogram one old key fob and I was told it would be $45 then it took longer than expected and I had to buy a new key fob which I was told would be $72 and so I'm like okay cool and it would be ready Wednesday but I never received any notice All throughout Wednesday to the point where I called in and they said that service department was closed so I never received any notice and I wasn't going to. Told them to contact me in the morning and I didn't receive any contact until I had to call them again later on afternoon to then be told It's still being work done and they had to reprogram a whole bunch of stuff in my car I didn't know about. And then that my total would be $409.72. and as a college student paying for my own tuition while getting paid minimum wage working full-time as well That is not something I am ready for and want to hear.
