Not very happy with my recent visit. I usually take my car to the Honda dealer for service but this time was a bit disappointing. The diagnostic cost was two to three times higher than other places and it seemed like they were guessing at the work needed and just giving me the highest price possible rather than seeing if they could replace the part first and see if that worked. $700 was too much. Going somewhere else from now on. I got the vibe that I was being taken advantage of rather than the dealer having my best interests in mind. My 2 cents.

I received a text stating my car was serviced at 10:45 am and that the paperwork was the only thing remaining, which would take 10-15 min. Half an hour passes by so I went to go talk to Jim and I guess my paperwork was misplaced somehow. I got my car by 11:35 even though it was promised at 11 am. I made an 8:45 am appointment for an oil change. It took longer to do an oil change compared to the major last service I received just a few months ago.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We were in an emergency situation and they took advantage of that. My car broke down at a local campsite and I had it towed to the dealership where they drove it around for five minutes, then told me I needed an alternator. In my gut, I knew what they were telling me was not accurate as I had done a lot of research on Google prior to coming in as well as the fact that they could not really explain why it was making a certain noise. I pushed Bonnie to justify they’re diagnosis in more detail and she seemed annoyed and told me it was”100%” an alternator issue. So I decided follow my gut and drive it home over 100 miles away to my trusted mechanic who quickly told me the alternator was not the problem after a quick diagnostic test which the Honda dealership did not even bother to perform. After five minutes of listening to my detailed description of what was going on, he got right to the bottom of it and figured out it was an air compressor valve that was letting off steam and gone bad. The Honda dealership was ready to take $850 to repair an alternator that wasn't even bad (and for which my mechanic quoted $300) and my car would still have the same problems. But they knew I didn't live locally so they could get away with it and I would have to fix my car when I got home. Definitely do not recommend. Dishonest and frustrating. I wasted a lot of money and time going through their useless service protocol.
